Job Description

QA/Test Analyst – Luton, Bedfordshire - Contract

The role holder needs to be IT literate with experience in handling high quantities of transactional data. Experience in writing test scripts and hands-on execution of scripts is essential; testing hard copy output will be highly desired. In addition to core technical skills, a QA Analyst is expected to understand all aspects of the software development life cycle, including systems analysis through to testing and deployment. Good communication skills with a willingness to talk to other areas of the business to gather information will be required. The QA Analyst will be expected to employ established test processes and to follow standard procedures.

Essential Skills:

• €¢ IT literate

• €¢ Interest in software lifecycle

• €¢ Interest in Quality Assurance

• €¢ AT least 12 months, Hands-on experience in executing system testing

• €¢ Experience in raising and documenting defects

• €¢ Experience in working with testing tools and fault tracking tools

• €¢ ISEB Foundation Certified

• €¢ Experience in writing system test scripts

• €¢ Hands-on experience in executing system testing

• €¢ Experience in testing huge volumes of transaction data
